The third installment of the Design for Manufacturing course is focused on the selection of process and material for the hardware products you’re building.
One of the things to think about as you build a prototype and get it working is how to take it to the next step and get ready to scale. This is where things that may have seemed easy in prototyping become incredibly important to get right upfront because the decisions you make early on are going to cast a very long shadow and often dictate whether your product ultimately succeeds or fails.
